ISO Certifications
Peterbilt maintains ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System (EMS) to improve its environmental programs and to reduce the environmental impacts of its operations and activities.
Within the framework of the EMS, Peterbilt commits to:
- Identifying materials, processes, products and wastes that cause or may cause pollution, and implementing measures to protect the environment;
- Complying with applicable environmental laws, regulations, standards and other environmental requirements to which the company subscribes; and
- Continually improving the Environmental Management System to ensure that it is appropriate and effective for achieving environmental objectives.
All Peterbilt facilities have aggressive targets for the continuous reduction of air emissions, packaging waste, waste solvent, hazardous waste, energy use and landfill disposal.
