PETERBILT ANNOUNCES BROAD AVAILABILITY OF THE NEW CUMMINS ISX11.9 DIESEL ENGINE

Peterbilt announced the industry's broadest lineup of truck models available with the Cummins ISX11.9 diesel engine. Available for immediate order, Peterbilt offers the new Cummins engine across its vocational and conventional lineup which includes the Models 320, 365, 367, 384, 386 and 388.

The Cummins ISX11.9 is available in the ATD's Commercial Truck of the Year, the EPA SmartWay® certified Peterbilt Model 384. The Model 384 was selected due to its superior design and innovative features by a panel of journalists from leading truck publications in North America. The Model 384 is Peterbilt's most versatile performer, ideal for regional, short and pick-up and delivery routes, with the power to handle the heaviest payloads.
The Cummins ISX11.9 EPA 2010 engine delivers strong pulling power, excellent throttle response and high fuel economy numbers. It shares technology with the proven ISX15 engine including design features such as the XPI common rail fuel system and an electrically actuated VGT™ Turbocharger. Ratings range from 310-425 hp with a maximum 1650 lb-ft of peak torque.
